Draft pending final attorney review. This page reflects the club's intended terms in plain language. It is posted now so members and phone carriers have something concrete to review, and will be updated (with a new effective date) once an attorney has confirmed the final wording. Nothing here is legal advice.
These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") govern membership in Jupiter Farms Country Club ("JFCC," "we," "us," "the club"), a neighborhood membership program in Jupiter Farms, Florida, operated by DreamSci LLC. By paying dues, submitting the membership application, or accepting these Terms at signup, you agree to them on behalf of your household.
JFCC is not a physical club, facility, or licensed private club. It owns no clubhouse, golf course, or grounds; employs no staff; and provides no equipment, instruction, transportation, or supervision. JFCC is a neighbor-run communications program: for $20 a year, members receive a weekly email of upcoming neighborhood gatherings and, if opted in, a same-day text reminder. That is the entire service dues purchase.
Your annual $20 household dues (and, for Founding Families, the one-time $50 Founding Family fee) pay for: the weekly newsletter, text reminders, the car sticker, your listing on the roster, and — for Founding Families — a public Family Page. Dues do not buy event planning, supervision, insurance, equipment, instruction, transportation, or any guarantee that a particular gathering will occur, be safe, or be enjoyable. Dues are non-refundable except as required by law or at the club's discretion.
JFCC announces gatherings; it does not host, lead, organize, manage, supervise, or insure them. A typical announcement says only that members intend to meet at a particular public place and time (for example, "members meet at Battlefield Park at 7:30am"). Members who show up decide, entirely among themselves, whether the gathering happens, its format, its duration, and everything else about it. JFCC appoints no leaders or guides, sets no official route or itinerary, and supplies no equipment.
You attend any gathering voluntarily and at your own risk. To the fullest extent permitted by law, JFCC and DreamSci LLC disclaim all liability for injury, loss, or damage arising from attendance at, or participation in, any announced gathering. Restaurant, park, and business venues are responsible for their own premises; JFCC merely tells members that a gathering is happening there.
A small number of signature events (for example, a seasonal festival) may be more directly organized by JFCC or by a hosting business; where that's the case, the announcement for that specific event will say so.
By providing a mobile number and opting in, you agree to receive event-reminder text messages; by joining, you agree to receive the club's email communications. Message frequency varies; message and data rates may apply; consent to texts is never a condition of membership. Reply HELP for help or STOP to unsubscribe from texts at any time; unsubscribe from email via the link in any email. Full detail is in the Privacy Policy, which is part of these Terms.
Appearing in the public Member Directory or publishing a Founding Family Page is entirely optional, reviewed before publication, and removable at any time by emailing club@jupiterfarmscc.com. Content you submit for publication (photos, write-ups) must be yours to share and must not depict your home address.
Members agree to treat neighbors, businesses, and public spaces with respect. JFCC may decline or revoke membership, at its discretion and with a refund of any unused prepaid dues, for conduct that endangers others, damages a venue's relationship with the club, or otherwise misuses the membership program.
JFCC's communications (calendar, newsletter, texts) are provided "as is," without warranty of any kind, including accuracy or continued availability. To the fullest extent permitted by law, JFCC and DreamSci LLC's total liability arising from your membership is limited to the dues you paid in the twelve months before the claim.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Any dispute will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Palm Beach County, Florida.
We may update these Terms from time to time; the effective date above will change when we do, and continued membership after an update means you accept the revised Terms. Material changes will be noted in the weekly newsletter.
